Lower Great Southern Hockey Association (LGSHA)

The LGSHA was established in 1990 when the Lower Great Southern Men's Hockey Association and the Albany Women's Hockey Association merged.

LGSHA is a not-for-profit association under the Associations Incorporated Act (2015) and an affliate member of Hockey WA and Hockey Australia. The LGSHA supports the delivery of hockey in the three local government areas of the City of Albany, Shire of Plantagenet and Shire of Denmark with member clubs from Albany, Mt Barker, Denmark, Manypeaks and the surrounding areas. 

Facilities

In arrangement with the City of Albany and the Shire of Plantagenet the association makes use of the following facillities;

- Centennial Park, Barker Road, Albany Hockey Turf and Clubrooms

- Sounness Park, Mt Barker Hockey Turf and Sporting Club facilities.

Lower Great Southern Hockey Association looks to continue their growth and expansion of hockey in the region, though the support of the clubs, players and all volunteers.
